The Grand Bazaar (in Persian: Bazar Bozorg, بازار بزرگ) is a historical market located in Isfahan, Iran, also known as the Gheisari bazzar. For centuries, Persian rugs have been an integral part of the Persian history and culture. The history of rugs has been handed down by fathers to their sons, keeping the legacy and tradition alive; a culmination of artistic & cultural brilliance.
Mr. Gheisari, owner of Ziba Rugs ( فرش قیصری ) , took after his father’s footsteps who once had a charming antique & rug shop in 'The Grand Bazaar'. He grew up working alongside his father, growing a passion for the industry and the art of handmade Persian rugs that's embedded so deeply in his blood. For three generations, Ziba Rug has established a reputation for carrying the finest quality rugs in the market and is presently recognized as one of Toronto’s leading rug distributors & retailers in the northern GTA since 1989.
